I have made a deal with a guy on craigslist for two wide mouth 6.5 gal glass fermenters (20 bucks ea). I realized this morning looking at the add that they have purple (ish) lids. He said they were new but has anyone seen these being sold with purple lids? I only see white lids. Just wondering where these are from? Anyone have any reviews on these seems like a good idea to me from a cleaning standpoint. I know I’ve seen them on alibaba before. I am guessing northern brewer sources them from a manufacture in China and that the product already existed. Northern brewer may have designed the two piece lid. ---

These are actually 5.5 gallons. I picked up a couple from this gentlemen and he got them through the local brewery store Brew and Grow, that he used to work at. ---
