I read about this a while ago. They really want Corona as a way to expand their sales numbers (since their own brands are slipping). They already own 50% of Modelo as it is. There’s more analysis in the piece he linked to

I heard from a very good source that all of their regular lineup is now brewed at Budweiser breweries and that they’re taking them national soon. They’re only doing their Belgians and barrel aged stuff in Chicago.
They just showed up in WA grocery stores.
