Does anyone else get a ridiculous amount of sulfur from these strains? I have created a stink bomb starter.
Not in the final product. It’'ll dissipate. Great strain.
No
I figured it would clear up. But holding this starter at 70f and it is rough.
Well this brew has surprised me. 82% Attenuation. Smells great. Nice spicey aroma. I look forward to using this strain again.
One of my favorite strains, especially of the Belgian ones.
Awesome strain. Nice phenolics but still makes a smooth-tasting beer.
Anyone know what’s go8ng on with this? Took a gallon of slurry from this BPA, acid washed, and then crashed. An hour ago the top was perfectly clear now the slurry is bubbling to the top in big ‘chunks’… have yet to see this from the last 30x I have used this process.
Looks like residual carbonation in the beer is allowing the yeast to work off nucleation sites forcing the yeast to the top of the beer.
It flocs fairly well compared to most other Belgian strains. Definitely not as powdery as some.
