Can Super Kleer be used on a carbonated keg? I have a Maibock that isn’t clearing as well as I’d like after being in the keg for about 6 weeks and have a package of Super Kleer.
I did use gelatin when I kegged it and whirlfloc near the end of the boil.
I don’t see why you couldn’t. I’ve added gelatin to carbed kegs with good results. Just be very careful/slow/gentle if/when you stir. I lost a good portion of a keg once when I was a bit over zealous.
That, and you’ll want to bleed off the pressure very slowly or it’ll foam over then.
I haven’t used it at this point but it should work, a pressurized keg is still. Like looking in a bottle of beer, no activity until you open it.
