I have a dual regulator for my kegerator, and I frequently have a beer with lower carbonation (English Ales, for example) on tap at the same time as my normal ales and lagers. What I haven’t done yet is had something highly carbonated on tap. Do I need to adjust the balance on my lines to account for higher carbonation in something like a hefe, Belgian or soda? I was thinking of rigging a line extension using a keg post to hose barb adapter (like this Ball Lock Keg QD Post (free flowing) to 3/8" Hose Barb ) on one side, with a liquid QD on the other. This way I would have something I could attach and remove easily as I change brews on a tap.
Am I overthinking this - is foaming not an issue at the 3.5-4 volumes range on a normal length of line? Has anyone tried something like this?
