AHA Announces New Association Management Partner

:megaphone: Big news! We’re excited to share a major step forward for the American Homebrewers Association. As part of our transition to an independent nonprofit, we’ve partnered with Strategic Association Management (SAM)—an accredited, Austin-based team with a strong track record of supporting mission-driven organizations.

With their support, we’re moving full steam ahead:

  • Bringing back Homebrew Con in 2026
  • Expanding educational programs and resources
  • Growing volunteer leadership
  • Preparing for our 50th anniversary in 2028

As Shawna Cormier, AHA Founding Board Chair says, “This is more than a transition—it’s a movement. We’re creating a stronger, more inclusive AHA rooted in collaboration, fun, and volunteer leadership.”

We couldn’t agree more! Cheers to the next great chapter of homebrewing!

Love the enthusiasm for HBC! We feel the same way! We are still in the process of working with various cities around the country to find the best fit. So while we don’t have exact dates or a location to announce right now, we are looking at June or July 2026. We hope to have those details firmed up shortly and then we’ll make an announcement sometime next month. So stay tuned!
