amoretti in beer

want to use Amoretti irish coffee in my stout.  When should I use it in the brew process? I was thinking of about 15 minutes left in the boil.

If I’m not mistaken, Amoretti is a flavoring, right?  If so, I would add it at bottling where you can add, taste, add and taste till you find the taste you’re looking for.

They make a bottle fitted with a pump also.  You can add to taste per glass with it. I did this with their watermelon product recently. It turned out well: those who wanted a watermelon flavored beer could have it and those who didn’t want it didn’t add it.  It was good stuff.

If we’re talking about the Amoretti syrups there’s no reason to add them any earlier in the brewing process than the end of the boil although you could probably add them after fermentation ends or during packaging.

I would look at the label and check the ingredients. If there are preservatives they may ferment out into some weird flavors.

I may have added it at the wrong time, I did it at 12 minutes left in the boil. It smelled great, still have to see how it worked out. Brewed 12/10/18
