An Article That I Found Entertaining, As It Was Full of Mistakes

Someone was paid for this.

My favorite part…
“If you head down to your local supermarket or liquor store the German beers that you’ll find on the shelves include Heineken, Budweiser, and Michelob Ultra, amongst others.”

We all know people like this.  Don’t have all the details when telling a story?  Just totally make it up as you go along!

I know there is the name of an author at the end of the article but don’t discount the possibility that this was (poorly) written by AI.

I’ve seen a few others on the topic of beer by this author. All are full of errors. Either the AI is programmed to be like “That Guy” we’ve all sat next to at the taproom, or the author is cranking out tripe for a buck.

I like that the pictures of beer are Pilsner Urquell, Heineken, and Budweiser.

I couldn’t bring myself to do much more than skim it due to the painfulness of reading it, but I loved this part in the food pairing section:

Wiener Schnitzel And Hacker Pshorr Weiss

The food is exactly what it sounds like. The bread is pan-fried, and the Weiner is authentically German.

If not AI, then ill equipped writers paid by the word not by the quality of the writing.

I went back to re-read,  and that egregious part has been deleted.

Yes, even left the c out of Pschorr.

Think about the items we see/hear on TV, hear on the radio. Items we know inside-and-out. Are these reports usually accurate? IMO, no. Really makes me wonder about anything and everything reported on TV and radio.

As an example. Years ago, a commuter train derailed in Maryland. All reports mentioned, in a somewhat condescending tone, “This was a push-pull operation” as if this was something evil or precipitated in the derailment. No, push/pull is normal for just about any train. Simply indicates if the engine is in the front or the rear. Nothing more.

We once had village idiots. Now, with the internet and global communications, we’re subject to idiots all the time.

lol All About English Beer And The 7 Best English Beers You Must Try

theres more. weird. i definitely feel it could be some AI writing experiment. the phrases thrown in, yet lack of foreignisms. the apparent results of internet searching superlatives ie. “most popular beer is budweiser” “best beer is ‘English Barley Wine’”

further examples: European Beers

“The colour of the Altbier is a semi-dark, verging on a pale kind of hue, but the method used to make it strongly rejects the methods used for traditional dark lagers. The beer boasts a copper, reddish tint and is lightly translucent. This is a good indication of its flavour profile and differentiates it from a golden pale ale and dark lager, like its method it simply sits somewhere in between the two.”

not written by a human but the result of some kind of amalgamation of searches perhaps
