It’s not easy to have a drink in Utah. Already, restaurant bartenders must be hidden from public view and 70 percent of restaurant receipts must be for meals rather than alcohol. Now, mini-kegs are banned as well.
I feel sorry for them.
Thats why when we see local politicians we throw rocks at them.
Not really but we have a ton of homebrewers here. And since we can’t buy most good beers, without paying a lot of tax and getting it from state run liqour stores, it creates an enviroment that gets us serious about our homebrewing.
Well, if you did, it’d be perfectly understandable.
Heck yes.
I learned how to make beer in that great state.
Lots of reasons to develop the skill.

Interesting how things change…
when I lived there, in a tiny traditional town,
I had an ancient little old neighbor squint at me when I planted hops on the fence,
she told me it had been 70 years since hops had grown there,
as she remembered her grandma had once tended hops in that ground
to make her “barley beer”.
