Bake Shirron chiller with label On?

I am planning to bake my Shirron chiller and so have removed all connectors and plastic tape. I’m concerned about the label. It looks like foil, but it must have glue under it. Has anyone tried that, and would you suggest removing the label?

What temperature will you be baking at? If you’re only going up to about 250°F, I’d guess that the foil label may be able to survive that.

If you’re trying to incinerate debris inside the chiller, then maybe scrape off the label and clean the glue off with solvent? Or just leave it and pick off the remains afterward?

I actually did it last night at 400 degrees. No damage to the label and no perceptible odors (other than the chicken I roasted with it).
