BJCP Tasting Exam

Hello all, I am scheduled to take my tasting exam in 3 weeks. Very excited and nervous.

I once found this PDF that had all 5 categories (Aroma/Mouthfeel/etc) and below it was a long list of descriptive words each that really help build your vocabulary.

For example under Flavor was toasty/biscuity/crackery/etc etc.

It was really helpful, but for the life of me I cannot find it. I’ve been searching online for about an hour.

If anyone has this and could direct me to it, I’d be much appreciative. Thanks!

I don’t have it… wish I did!
Good luck with your exam! I’m hoping to take it next summer. I started taking a beer styles class this month.
Cheers!

Good luck on the tasting exam.  Below are a list of resources that may help.

This is relatively recent and a useful resource:

You can also google Beer Flavor Wheel:

The Commercial Calibration in each edition of Zymurgy also contains a lot of adjectives to help expand your vocabulary.

It would also be helpful to review the BJCP learning resources:
