Black IPA done.

The beer is done and carbed, and came out great. The roasted barley seemed to take away the citrus of the all Cascade hop bill. A good beer, which will definatly be brewed again, on purpose next time.

Looks good!

An IPA 15 days grain to glass? That was quick…  :o

I noticed though, it wasn’t pale.

I love it when a plan comes together

Now that’s a BLACK IPA.  ;D

Looks good Weaz!

Now that’s a BLACK IPA.  ;D

Looks good Weaz

The start of a new BJCP category…IBA  (India Black ALe)

I have one I’m sending to the Patriots Homebrew competiton

Going to call it Midnight Imperial India Black Ale

There’s a great oxymoronic tradition to modern beer names…hence we call a 4% beer “stout”, a rather low IBU session beer “bitter”, and a yellow bit of adjunct swill the “King of Beers”.  ;D

Why do I always have to lug around my Porter, shouldnt it be lugging me around?

That looks really nice!
