Bottlers do you pour the priming trub when serving?

I was wondering, do you pour the entire contents of bottled homebrew including the priming trub?  I used to but lately have gotten to a place where I leave the trub in the bottle.

I usually decant off of the sediment.  I’m flatulent enough without adding that. :-*

No way, unless it’s a Hefeweizen!

It depends on the beer and my mood, but I do find myself going in the same direction as you and pouring it out less and less.

I hear ya!  The wife sometimes has to sleep on the couch.

No. If have have few beers while I’m cookin somethin I pour th dregs in what ever in cookin though,
dont want to waist you know.

+1, clear beer in the glass is pretty.

If it’s a clear beer then I’ll decant the beer into the glass then swig the bottom from the bottle.

Otherwise, it’s probably a 50/50 chance what I’ll do.

I too decant unless it’s a Hefeweizen.

I think this makes it +4 to only if its a Weiss beer

Hefeweizen… you guys dont brew Dunkelweizens?

Nope, never did Dunkel… yet

Not usually, no.  If I’ve already had a few, the pouring can get a little sloppy  :-[ and when I’m camping and too cheap to buy beer, I’ll just drink it right outta the bottle  :o

Well, as opposed to krystalweizen.  Hefe = yeast was my point.

And, as someone previously mentioned, when I don’t pour the last 1/2 inch from the bottle, I usually swig it  :-*

Awesome beer for this time of year.

Brew day to ready (if kegging) in three weeks

yup

I leave it unless it is a Heffe or a Wit. It goes with the idea of when in Rome…

Weasletoe had an awesome limerick on this very topic. But I can’t remember it.
Maybe he will be kind enough to post it here… ;D

I also always decant unless it is a hefe, which reminds me I have to make another one soon.
