I HATE OATMEAL!

;D Awesomeness! Almost spit my coffee all over the monitor ;D

Excellent! I’m looking forward to a listen. I love oats in all forms and use them in most of my brews.

It’s my show…I don’t hold back…

Absolutely.  I quite liked that little blurb.  I’m not a big fan of flaked oatmeal either; I’ll eat it but it needs some dried fruit, nuts/seeds, salt, and splash of cream.  Oats are just little too bland and mush for me to really love it.  Steel cut oats are far superior to flaked oatmeal as a breakfast food due to the chewy texture - they still need the extras though.

Now, flaked rye for breakfast -cooked just like oatmeal- are quite a bit better than oats.  Way more flavor with a grainy, nutty quality to them; still have the mush factor but there is a little more texture that makes them more appealing to me.
