I could have put this in the top portion, but The Pub is a heck of a lot more fun. In moving I dropped my motorized malt mill and broke the base. It was made out of countertop materials from my neighbors kitchen renovation and snapped in a weak area. I had basically made it to fit over a particular bucket and it had a fold out leg which would pinch the crap out of your fingers. I guess this will give me the opportunity to revise the setup and make it more elderly friendly. Haven’t decided if I will brew out of the garage or out of the lower level. Of course the mill could be in the garage and I could easily take grain to the lower level to brew. That would certainly provide an adequate separation between mill and brewhouse. Maybe I’ll revise my motorizing a malt mill document and fix a minor error in it I never corrected regarding pitch diameter.
Oh well, it will live again in the near future, hopefully better and easier to handle.
