Brooklyn Lager

I’ve looked around and can’t find any tried and true recipes for this beer. Anyone here ever brewed a good clone of it and willing to share a recipe?

Thanks, in advance.

What is the difference between that and a Boston Lager?
besides 200 miles

Taste.

I wasn’t trying to clone it, but 50% 2-row, 50% Vienna, 20 IBU Magnum for bittering, .5 oz Hallertauer and Cascade at 15 min, .5 oz at flameout, and Wyeast 2035 was pretty similar.

Don’t know where you searched, but there are some threads at HBT: http://www.google.com/search?q=+site:homebrewtalk.com+brooklyn+lager+clone

I saw those threads, but no one seems to report back on their results.

Sorry, I didn’t actually read through any of them.

:D, nice.

I will try and do a little googlling
to amend my ignorance.

With this country
I am fascinated by diversity within a 200 mile radius.

Cheers to that.

Sorry, I was being a SA. I think the Brooklyn lager is cleaner tasting beer over the Boston Lager. I’ve never actually done a side by side, so I’m hard pressed to offer much of a  description. I just remember that I like the Brooklyn better.

I just can’t believe that no one has nailed a recipe for it yet.
