I have read about the Burton snatch, but I have never experienced it until I brewed my latest batch of beer. Wow! All I can say is one should be careful when adding CaSO4 and MgSO4 to one’s brewing water. This beer has the characteristic stench of a green lager, but with an ale fruitiness. It’s still a young beer with yeast in suspension, so I hope that this aroma will fade with time.
Marston’s Pedigree has it, so if you ever go to England seek it out.
