Carbonating my keg of IPA

I tried something a bit different this time with the carbonating of the keg, I set the dial at 10psi, which is usually my serving temp.  It has been in the Kegerator for 6 days and it is just now starting to show some head on the beer.  I turned it up to 12psi yesterday, just to see.  Should I leave it be for a day or two more?  Or would cranking it up to about 20 for the next day or two be a bad thing?  I am on vacation so I was hoping to enjoy a few tomorrow.  LOL.  In the past I have set it to about 30 and left it for 2 or 3 days and that worked out pretty well.  I wanted to try something different and I think I might have messed up a bit.  RR

You should be almost there. I wouldn’t go past 15 psi to avoid overcarbonating.

I used to rush things along with higher pressure but overcarbed way to many times.  I prefer to set and forget.

Thanks guy for the input.  I upped it to 12psi yesterday and it was better last night.  Going to give it a go a little later today.  I am going to grab a bottle of the real Blind Pig to see how close this one got.
