Checking Back In.

Hello there fellas - not that I’m all that important, but 1 or 2 of you PM’d me wondering if I was okay.  In the infamous words of George Costanza “I’m back, baby”

Welcome back.

Hey Paul!  Hope everything’s OK.  Great to see ya back!

Welcome back, noticed you had not been around. Sometimes life happens.

Great to see ya back and posting!

So you took some time off too. Welcome back.

Kai

Welcome blatz.

Great to see you back

Are you going to Cocoa Beach for Cmmdr. Saaz?  'Hope to see you there.

Well hey there Blatz. Good to “see” you.

Hey, don’t you owe me beer?

Paul, Paul who?  Welcome back!  Hope everything is going well.

We missed ya, buddy.

welcome back!

thanks fellas - really appreciate it - I’ve had some dark days most of this year, but things are starting to get better - light at the end of the tunnel so to speak.  I’ve missed the community and brewing quite a bit.  Back in the saddle of brewing - in the past 2 months I brewed some of my house faves: Mako IPA, Belgian Wit, Dortmunder Gold, and my 2012 Oktoberfest is in the conical now.

Just have to build the stand for my new electric brew system and then hopefully I’ll be popping the cherry on the new system on the next brewday, if not the one following.

Major - I guess I still owe you beer?  I thought the Jags/Titans split last year, but I don’t mind - I’m bottling  a six pack this weekend of some IPA for my brother, so I’ll put a few together.

I don’t think I’ll be able to make it this year, but I do hope to go to the Sunshine Challenge and maybe Jacksonville and Hogtown as well.

So the “summer of Paul” is over? (Also a Costanza reference)

Hey there Paul…it’s been a little while. Glad to see you back. Good to know you’re okay. Hope to see you around more often. What’s your Mako IPA recipe use for a hop schedule?

for 12 gal:

70 IBUs total

xxoz Columbus for bittering
2oz each Centennial and Simcoe at 20 min
2oz Amarillo at 10 min
2oz each Amarillo and Cascade at Flameout

Dryhop # 1 - 10-12 days
2oz Simcoe
1oz Amarillo
1oz Columbus

Dryhop # 2 - in keg
2oz of either Simcoe or Columbus - I usually do Simcoe in one keg and COlumbus in the other

Good to know you still don’t know when I’m messing with ya. I think we decided last year to exchange some beer but just never got around to it.
