Mash Profile

Throw the Carapils in the garbage, and you’re good to go!

My first thought is you must really love Citra. 2oz into 5 gallons of a 1.046 beer is a lot of mango. Secondly, between, the Carapils and the Crystal, that’s 17% of speciality malt that’s going to leave some unfermentables so I think I it will finish higher than 1.010. I would suggest easing back on the carapils to 8oz at most.

My house blonde ale is 90% 2-row, 5% Munich and 5% flaked wheat mashed at 149.

+1 to losing the Carapils.  A common theme lately.

My blonde is 100% Washington Select to 1.045-50. I hop with a half ounce of 8% cascade at 60 and a half ounce at 15. Not saying to do it my way, but I think yours will be a bit cloying and dank. Let us know how it turns out. Sometimes what it seems on paper is not how it ends up.

That is a good point as well.

I do a Citra Wheat with 32 g of hops total. The Citra comes easily comes through in such a light bodied beer. I would suggest possibly removing or reducing the dry hop addition…
