Moving from CT to TN later this year - have a 10 lb canister that I bought just before 10 lb cans became illegal in CT. Can I use this canister in Tennessee? Are there any other CO2 canister limits in Tennessee I need to know about?
@ Stevie - no idea - probably something to do with taxes - but let’s not get political….I just need to know if I should move this can with me or try to sell it. Thanks for replying!
Wasn’t looking for politics, but obviously somebody laid out an argument that half of the legislature or population bought. I tried to find an article regarding this, but was unsuccessful. The odd thing is 10lb tanks are common for fire extinguishers, so I guess they want people to burn.
I live in TN and have both 5# and 15# tanks and can fill both. I have never heard of an restriction or limit beyond hydro testing and the norm. (also know people with 20#) I think you should be fine.
May be what happened is this. There is not too many 10 lb cylinders. Your supplier did not want to deal with it so he told you the illegal story. It was easy way out for them.
