So I just figured out what this thread was about and read the article on the front page of the AHA site.
Weaze, you really should join the AHA. It doesn’t cost much, you get a nice magazine, and it supports a lot of homebrewing efforts nationwide.

You don’t really “win” it. Someone from the AHA staff selects who it will be. Beyond that, I don’t know how the selection is made.
If you or someone you know is interested in being the next Brewer Of The Week, stop by the Homebrewer Bios section of the AHA forum and post some background info. There is also a list of questions you can answer in the “Brewer’s Bios- How To’s and What For’s” post.
That requires effort. I thought you could just pay someone under the table.

You all are right, I really do need to jopin the AHA. Today is my 14th wedding anniversary,(I spent it at a go -kart track in Salt Lake City, with two fourteen year old girls, but that’s another story) and I think that would make the perfect gift for me. Somebody wanna put a bug in Holly’s ear?
