In my search for ideas for a backyard brewshed i’ve run across some pretty interesting stuff but this is by far the coolest shed design i’ve ever seen. The prices are really high but understandable for the amount of custom work involved. I think its just one guy making them. Couldnt find the width on the site but you can order them from 6’ - 12’ deep.

They are getting serious bucks for old barnwood these days; all the millionaires at the local ski town want it.
Yeah…one of my neighbors has a vintage 1840’s barn that he is harvesting the wood from. He says that he gets a very good price for it. They reclaim and restore it for other products like vintage doors and flooring.
Very interesting little buildings. Shingling them would require scaffolding if I was going to do it.
30 years ago old barns were being torn down to make picture frames. Art dealers were paying a fortune (at the time) for wood that would normally just be burned. My high school baseball team tore a couple of old barns down and sold the wood to raise funds for field improvements (with the permission of the owners, of course). 8^)
Some of the nicest boards you can get are the floor boards in the attic of an old farm house. They are perfectly flat and straight and generally were not nailed down, so no metal in them to wreck saw blades. Most times they are just pine but they are usually 12" wide and 12’ to 16’ long.

we just bought as hutch and dining room table out of barnwood. some company in south carolina. beautiful but a bit more that i should have spent. and to think my mom’s farm is surrounded by dilapidated old barns. :o
