This is just about the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.
Someone who knows how to weld obviously put some effort in to this, but I can’t figure out why.

I have gotten Corny’s converted to Sanke from Brekenridge as well inlieu of a true 1/6th barrel (this was recently, and is still probably in their service). I figured that if you have some old cornys sitting around and need a 1/6 barrel and all you have is Sanke heads for filling/cleaning, it would make sense to convert (compared to the cost of new kegs).
I’ve seen tons of them over the years, but this is the first time I’ve seen a 3 gallon one. gsandel is right, if you already have a large collection of cornys or could get them cheap (back in the day when they were $5-15 each) it is far cheaper to get someone to close up the old posts and add a sanke coupler than buying used sanke kegs.
It’s aluminum?
That’s what the listing says, but I bet they’re wrong. I am not bidding, so I will not find out.
