and ‘old’ in this case is relative. it was invented in the 1960’s. hit a low spot in the 1980’s where it almost went extinct and then had a comeback.
I received an email from a contact at Crisp, who gave me no info but only asked where I am located, I responded and will see where it goes. I assured her in my response that I was really only looking for product info after seeking advice here. We shall see what she comes up with. Hope I did not cause a problem for a distributor, LHBS, etc and she was only looking for info to get me the pertinent info.
Just got another email from Crisp: my bag is as stated in this thread, floor malted Maris Otter Ale Malt. Thanks for all the input. She is also trying to find me a spec a sheet through BSG
