D rest fpr my Bock

My Bock has been progressing well and I have been following the accelerated lager ferment schedule discussed here recently. Here is my question: I have been slowly bringing it up to 65 for a D rest, whether it needs it or not, I just bumped it up from 62-65(set the controller that is) but I am leaving town for 10 days tomorrow. Are there any issues leaving it at 65 for 10 days rather than a standard 3 days? Or should I just crash it back down to lager temps?

As long as most of your fermentation is complete youll be fine. I do this frequently when i am within 6 or 8 pts from terminal gravity and its fine. Merry X mas:)

Thanks, that’s what I figured, just very new at lager, this is my third and only one with such poor timing as far as my availability goes. Merry Christmas  to you as well

Agreed. 10 days no problem. Might actually be a good idea. 10 weeks, maybe not. 10 months, probably not.

+1.  Set it and forget it.  It will condition nicely in more ways than one.  It may even allow for a faster lagering period and quicker turnaround.  YMMV.
