Don't know how I did it.

Live in Ohio that is…I just got home yesterday. I never thought I would be so happy to get home to Idaho. The temperature and humidity SUCKED!!! One morning, it was 6:30, 80*, and 80% humidity! Can’t imagine I was ever used to that. So nice to be back where it’s dry, and a balmy 65*. At least the heat was good for work. I cleaned up! Now, I go six weeks off, till I have to go to work for 2 two again. My life rocks!

Well la dee daa!!!

Cheers guy.

Dude, I grew up in IA.  Lived there for 22 years before I moved to OR.  While IA was a great place to be a kid in the 50s, every morning when I wake up I thank God that I live in the PNW!

I had the same experience last year going back to Florida in September for my sister’s wedding.

Walked off the plane and wanted to cry. It seems unbearable after 15 years in So Cal and that was September! Lord knows I probably would have become a puddle if it had been in August.

Grew up in Michigan surrounded by water and humidity. Moved to Phoenix. Now that the sell Bells out here in the desert…I cant seem to think of any reason I’d go back!

Sounds like next year the AHA Conference should be held in some place like Houston or New Orleans or other place with max heat/humidity.  Drew steps off the plane…  puddle!  Denny steps off the plane… puddle!  random other low humidity living dude… puddle!

Come on down to South Carolina and get you a dose of humidity!

Ok, we’ll add Charleston the list of possible conference locales.

+1
Every morning when my feet hit the floor I say, “Thank you God for another day of life and health here in Hawaii!”

I’m with you on that Central Florida humidity Drew.  Don’t know how I did it for all those years.

I do miss those amazing Central Florida summer afternoon thunderstorms though…  They made for some spectacular photographs.
