Dry yeast for a Hefeweizen

I’ve been meaning to try Lallemand Munich Classic.

I was NOT AT ALL impressed by WB-06, which I later found out is actually Belgian in origin, not a hef yeast at all.

Are you looking for more clove or more banana? Or a balance of the two?
Or an American hefe?

That’s the easiest yeast question of all - Lallemand Munich Classic.

Don’t use WB-06, it’s a weird member of the saison family, that may have come from Duvel. Don’t use Lallemand Munich, now rebranded as a wit yeast - it’s nothing like as characterful as Munich Classic.
