Epic Fail...

Been in my new place just a few days now. Last night, I had to walk out to the garage to grab something. Just ran out real quick, so I didn’t dress for it. Go to get back in only to discover I had locked myself out. And my phone was also inside. So, in 20 degree weather, I had to make a three mile trek down a busy state route in my boxers, a t-shirt, and my Harley Davidson biker boots to get to my friends house to have drive me back over an let me in with the key I gave her. Long story short, I now have another spare hid outside, and I’m still waiting for my second ball to drop back down after hiding from the cold.

A trick I learned while hunting in Alaska:  always tie a string to it before you get cold.  That way you can pull it back down when you gotta take a leak later.  8)

“Honey, look…it’s our new neighbor walking down the street”  ;D

Glad you made it back in.

Ahh!  The continuing adventures of “da Weaze”.  Mental note - have friend sew phone pocket in boxers!

Don’t worry, my wife has done that twice. It happens.

Locked herself out or locked you out?

Ok!  I was going to say “Hiked three miles to a neighbor’s in boxers to get a spare key?”

OK!  I was going to say “your wife has Harley biker boots?”

This is one of those things that’s funny as hell unless it happens to you !    ;D

She’s done it to herself. The rest, I’m not talking  8)

should have been wearing pants.
hopefully you didn’t freeze your bacon

Just got off the phone with a friend who lives on Scotland.  She said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.
The temperature is dropping far below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force.  Her husband has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.  She says if it gets much worse, she may have to let the drunken bastard in.

I laughed my ass off the whole three miles. She felt terrible for me though, and couldn’t laugh. Now that’s a good friend!

Yeah that’s a pretty damn good friend !

First thing I did when moving to my house was install keypad locks on all the outside doors. I’m never locked out. Ever.

In my home here on Hawaii Island the windows only have screens.  The doors encompass entire walls, and are never closed.  My doors are never locked, and I have never been locked out.

Living in the tropics shifts your paradigms.
