Now that the state legislature has all the fiscal and social problems in SC solved
Send em on over! They’re tougher than hen’s teeth to find around here. ;D
so, anyone ever used collard greens as brewing ingredient? ;D
No, but I’ve eaten a whole mess of em while brewing though. Does that count?
SMH…
I did up two bunches of collards last week. Took me about 2 hours to cook the bitterness out. Did a mess of mustard greens up last night with a smoked turkey leg. Man that’s good eatin.
My gut has never felt better since I started eating leafy greens. That is one smart little girl.
I can’t imagine what the state of SC would be like without their collards. ;) :o
Just a state that puts mustard in its barbecue sauce?
Mustard makes everything better. Try it in salsa con queso. Seriously.
Sure, it’s good with hot cheese dips and such. what’s salsa con queso? not sure I like the idea of tomatoes and cheese.
You don’t like pizza? :o
Not as a cold dip.
Here in OR this year, we got an official state soil! :
Delicious, that’s what. Salsa + Cheese.
He’s from Ohio. :
I thin it’s often served warm and gooey
We eat them like candy down here. They are simmered at least once a week in this household.

Oh. I think I call that chile con queso. The salsa part made me think of pico de gallo with cubes of cheddar and a squeeze of yellow mustard. That’s the image I had trouble with. Never mind.
I’m not from Ohio. I just live here. You should see what passes for pizza and chili in Ohio.
