First post and first AG brew

This past Sunday I brewed my first AG batch. I learned a lot. It was a blue moon clone kit from AIH and I way undershot my gravity readings. And was way over at mash temp about 165 had to add cod water. Only got about %50 eff. But it was fun. It is fermenting away. So I ordered another kit and will give it another shot in 2 weeks. It was also a BIAB.

i hope your “cod water” doesn’t make it fishy tasting…sorry couldn’t resist!

sounds like a good day or learning, and im sure good beer is on the way…welcome!

Haha yea the color is a bit off putting. All though it is starting to look better.

i was referring to your post…looks/color all good!

Not a very good couple of days on the forum for people not having to explain jokes (ask Jim “soylent green”) Must be that Mercury is retrograde.

I wish my wife would let me ferment on the table…

Man, if nothing else it will be beer, beer you made…bo0OMSauce

Make notes while it is still fresh in your head, refine your process, it will get better and easier. Just not cheeper…lol

It’s something, that’s for sure

Congratulations and welcome aboard

i thought it was funny  :o
