Ok, so I was lucky and got my tickets for Saturday noon members session, which I’m very excited about. I also got 4 tickets for Friday night and each ticket does say “Member” on them, but they also say “General Admissn.” Does this mean that my Friday tickets I get to go through the Members line or do I have to use the “regular” line? Thanks.
I have no idea what the official answer is, but if it were me, I’d be in the members line, with my ID card.
Thanks, that what I was thinking. Really not a huge deal, as I’m sure I’ll enjoy the event the same from which ever line I’m in…but it would be nice to be in the shorter one!
Hi Folks,
If your tickets are members entrance, your tickets would note ‘members’ around the top right corner and on the left-hand grey portion of the ticket either ‘1X,’ ‘2X,’ ‘3X,’ or ‘4X.’ The +FC I believe appears on all tickets.
Cheers,
Thanks Anthony. My tickets do say “Members” on them and have a 9X on the left grey portion of the tickets. Not a big deal if I have to go through the main line, but would be nice to use the shorter line!
I had the same question and emailed the BA. If the ticket doesn’t explicitly say “member’s entrance” in the middle of the ticket above the event info, then it’s general admission (and probably reads General Admission). Along the top of the ticket, under the “Admission” heading it may say member, but that just means you purchased the ticket as an AHA/BA member.
So between AnthonyO and drklingman, we have two conflicting statements.
My tickets say “Member” under Admission in the upper right hand corner. I would assume that would mean I would be in the Members Only line, seeing as how there was only one option (GA) to buy these tickets.
The BA really needs a better system than Ticketmaster next year, for many reasons.
I agree they need a better system. I can only speak to the tickets mailed from TicketMaster, I don’t know about the you-print version, but above where it says “Brewers Assoc Presents”, it will either read “MEMBERS ENTRANCE +FC” or it will read “GENERAL ADMISSN +FC”. Again, that was what was told to me from the BA person who emailed me.
Received all my tickets in the mail last week. They all have “Members Entrance” on them, as well as “Member” at the top under “Admission”, except for the Saturday noon Members Only session tickets which have General Admission instead of Members Entrance because there’s only one entrance for that session.
If the ticket does not have Members Entrance printed on it, then it is a General Admission ticket, and the word “Member” at the top does not help.
My guess is that if one is in the wrong line for your ticket, the staff will probably direct you to the [end of] the correct line. I believe there also have in the past been staff outside with bullhorns directing peeps to the right lines.
