20+ years as graphic designer count? I used to work a lot of gouache, water color and acrylics but haven’t done much of that in years. Still do a little drawing here and there with pencil.
Carl, looking forward to your stop-motion videos. I’m looking for a housing for my DSLR and looking to do the same w/ some underwater action. However, I’m a little nervous about taking my DSLR camera underwater!
Looked at her Etsy portfolio and like her style. I also noticed the first thing that sold was the chicken print. There are people out there that will buy the hell out of chicken art - and that’s the key. Sugar skulls, chickens, pigs, owls (especially owls) … find out whats trending and concentrate on that and she’ll sell the hell out of some prints!
She does some great work. I like her Asparagus piece quite a bit.
I’ve dabbled in fractal art a bit myself, but like most of my hobbies I haven’t spent much time on it since my son was born. I never really turned the corner to where I considered myself really good, but I do have a few pieces that I’m very happy with.
Not my thing, but hey, it looks good on you Jim! :
Your fractals are cool Eric. Check out sugar skulls.
I don’t take my Canon underwater Jeremy, but there have been times when it rained so hard on a time lapse setup that it felt like I was underwater. It sucks to spend hours on a setup and get washed out just when the best part starts to happen. (Some of the coolest places on this island get storms that dump 4"+ per hour sometimes).
