I was just about to re-check FG and realized that I’m dry-hopping. Since gravity tests the density of the beer, wouldn’t loose hop sediment falsely increase the reading?
Shouldn’t.
The hop particles are in suspension and not dissolved so they should have no effect on gravity.
If you are dry hopping now, why not just wait until you get ready to package the batch to take a final gravity reading? One less step, one less chance of oxidation/infection. +1 to laziness!
