happy happy joy joy

Nothing makes me happier than cracking a home brew and saying man i like this. Ive been working on a summit sag clone for quite a few batches now and i have to say im really closing in. Nothing more satisfying!!

It’s a great feeling. Nice job !

summit sag??? OK that one is escaping me this morning.

Summit saga

Thanks for clarifying. Used to live in MN and enjoyed all of Summits beers, but that one was not in their line up then. Sounds like one I’d enjoy. Wouldn’t have a good recipe for their Pale Ale would you? The ones I’ve found on line are not even close, so I’m in the process of refining my own. Have a couple comml bottles left that I’m hording for taste comparisons. The Summit site doesn’t give much to go on. My last attempt was lacking the malt character (I’m going to add some Vienna next go and/or change the yeast)

The only recipe I have is the saga one and have fine tuned it quite a bit from where I started. Although the pale ale one would be nice.

I love Summit Saga, one of my favorite IPAs. Post up your recipe!

It is a great feeling to brew a beer and think, “Man, this is fantastic”.

Ill post it tomorrow. I love the fact that the beer is still affordable as well. I can still pick up 12 packs at Teddys on sale for 12.50!

Congrats. It is a great feeling to have one that really wows you. I have only had one that’s made me say, YES!  Don’t get me wrong I enjoy all of them but when you hit the jack pot it makes you feel good.
