I used WLP802 on a Czech Pils last month, harvested it and am thinking of using it in a Cream Lager recipe of mine. My question is : Will the different grain bill add its own unique character to to the yeast once harvested and used in a different recipe? Obviously it works the other way around too. When I re-use the 802 in another Czech Pils, could I possibly perceive the influence of the Cream Lager grain bill (corn, oats, rice, pils malt and pale) in my Czech Pils?
I have never found that to happen
