Hi,
I am interested in going to the above mentioned class, but want to make sure it is worth the time and money…any advice would be appreciated.

It would be interesting to hang out with Randy Mosher, Ray Daniels, Chris White and Chris Graham for five days and play with the more sophisticated homebrewing systems. I couldn’t personally justify the $2K price tag on the basis of learning/improving homebrewing skills, but if you have the dough then I can’t think of a class with better teachers and five days won’t disrupt your life too much.
I agree that Chicago is a hotbed of craft beer activity, lots to experience and I enjoy my too-infrequent excursions there.
It’s been several years since they offered it IIRC. Too bad it isn’t going to be in Durango any more.
I’d love to be able to do a week long class at Seibel. I think it would be a lot of fun, not to mention I’d probably learn a thing or two while I was there.
I hear nothing but good things about Seibel. They have a very respectable brewery program and a lot of very talented brewers have come out of that school.
