Last time I was there (August 2014) I went to Beerfoot Brewery a few times. Pretty cool little brewpub. They had a mix of their own brew and some other good local beers. If I remember correctly they actually had a beer on tap that was a homebrewers recipe that won a local contest. If you happen to take the trip north to Houston you have to go to Saint Arnold or Karbach.
