# Hobby between fermentations

I cook, train in Taekwondo, and manage firewood for keeping the house heated. Build crude furniture when the need arises, and raise my two boys. Grow hops. Sometimes keep bees.

I read an article back in the 90s that says men should have three hobbies and hang with friends twice a week. I can’t remember why but it stuck with me. I brew. I golf. I do winter sports - ski, hockey and snowshow. Gold and brewing seem to really dominate my time. My neighbour has a huge miniature train set up - I can go watch his trains while we both drink my beer.
