I watched it a few days ago - I don’t remember if the Comet was one of the places they covered, but they definitely went to a place or two with bacon bloodies. Overall I was a bit disappointed with the show. It was good, but not quite what I’d hoped. It was cool to see a bar that serves bacon for happy hour, but I think I wanted more recipe ideas.
oh and how could i forget comet also does you buy a beer and get a plate of bacon on sundays.

One of my favorite Nawlins’ chefs Emeril Lagasse.
I visited family in St Louis this summer. We hit several brewpubs one night and two of them served bacon as an appetizer. Funny to see drunks at midnight chowing bacon in a bar. That’s a new one for me.
