Homebrew in the Classroom

Right now I am in my final law school class. We were told we could bring beer and food, since we are just watching a presentation. I brought a 5 gal keg of Belgian Golden Strong Ale to the classroom. My professor was impressed (and he knew what Duvel was).

Has anyone else brought homebrew to a classroom?

Every college Microbiology class should make beer.  I know my microbiology professor did.
I still think that golden nectar I drank out of a beaker was the best homebrew I ever had.
I realized then that there was much more to beer than BMC products.

I brought some bottles of a stout to one of my Saturday classes.  It was well received  ;D  Not that the professors generally approved but most of the class drank on Saturdays towards the end of the program anyway.  I usually stayed away from it since I had a hard enough time staying awake as it was.

I always found whisky was a lot easier to conceal…oh, wait…

I brought homemade mead to my masters thesis defense.  I passed, so I guess the mead didn’t hurt!
