lol exactly. i know some people here are insistent that “i brew because its fun”, but if i had to go through a 5 hour brewday and just end up with 5 gallons of virtual wort, i 100% would not waste my time.
I play a Steam game called Overcooked, a cooking game. I guess you could say the same thing about it, but it’s tons of fun.
There are games with themes like cooking, and then there are simulators (like Microsoft Flight Sim). If this is truly a simulator, I’m not sure what the point is because homebrewing is a little bit more accessible than flying a 747 or driving a Formula 1 car. But to each their own!
Looking at that game, seems like it’s been around a long time.
Who knows? Maybe it will help inspire more people to the hobby!
I might have to try to get my kid to play this in hopes that he might be more interested in helping out on brewdays…
