I want to raise the temperature of my lagered beer from around 34 degrees to 55 degrees for bottling and pitching a little yeast. Using room temperature of 72 degrees how do I calculate the time needed to raise the temperature?
I don’t think it’s that simple. It would depend on the temperature conductivity and thickness of the vessel it’s stored in, humidity, airflow, etc.
Not enough information to calculate, but it will go a lot faster if you put a fan on it. If you can put it in a bucket of warm water (and keep the water warm) it will go even faster.
And a pump moving the water will make it go even faster.
