Idea for cleaning kegs

I am power washing the deck and I get to thinking to myself “self I have a great idea” “Oh?” I said to myself. Then I thought “this power washer would be a great way to clean the keg I just emptied”. Then I thought “self your brilliant”, of course I already knew that. So when I finished with my deck I went downstairs and got that keg. I must say that power washer is the way to go. And I didn’t use very much water doing it. Unfortunately it would be a bit much to drag my power washer out and set it up every time I empty a keg.

Sorry, but I had a good chuckle at this one when I read it.  I bet it didn’t take much time at all either.  I wish I had a power washer set up and ready to roll on every cleaning day!  8)

Well that’s one way to do it!  I personally like the recirculating systems.  I use about a gallon of water and a small amount of PBW.  Works like a charm.  I use my keg washer to clean and sanitize kegs and carboys.  I use the pump and a bucket to clean and sanitize my tap lines and faucets.

Thanks for the post, I just built the DIY version today after seeing this and it worked great. Will be adding the keg posts this next week. Luckily I had a pump laying around the house.
