Imported 2 Row

I have a porter recipe that I would like to brew that calls for imported 2 Row. Is this just referring to MO or UK pale malt?

Does it give a color (or range)? In a porter, it’s most likely a UK pale malt, but almost all the barley grown outside the US is 2-row. Not that the base malt is what defines a porter. You could probably use a domestic 2-row pale in the 3-4 SRM range and not notice the difference.
