Inspired By (clone) Names

I’m curious if anyone has fun naming their inspired-by beers. I’m going to do an American Stout with 1728 that I’m calling MacBeth, and a version of a reddish pale ale with centennial and cascade that I’m going to call Donner Party.

Ah, late night beer humor.

Going to brew some Brown Nuts Ale today, does that count?

Chinookiee Wookiee…a single hopped beer.  Guess what hop.

I also refer to my setup as The Blue Lightning Brewery

Where do I get my inspiration?  ;D

My Belgian Golden Strong’s name is ‘Devil’s in the Details’.

Oh, and my English beers are always named something cheeky. My favorite name is ‘The Dog’s Danglers’, it’s pretty epic when someone has to read that at an awards ceremony.

My Chinook ipa is called onchorynchus (genus for Pacific sakmon). My California common is “slipped anchor”. And my Christmas beer for an ugly sweater party was “El Guapo: with a plethora of spices”

Here’s an album with some of our homebrew labels. http://imgur.com/a/YmMKD/all

And two of my favorites.

Awesome name!

It might be a little disturbing as a picture on a label

My Westmalle “homage” beer is named Westcoastmalle.

My Chimay is Shewill.  I stole that from someone else, though.

I just made a clone I’m calling pyrite.  Can you guess the name of the original?

Mine’s called “Chimaybe”.

We’ve got Umpqua Valley Truant Amber, Timothy Taylors Tenant Bitter and Bare in Public Razor V IPA.

My last one that missed the mark was named “Chimostcertainlyisnot”.  Still a good beer… but not a Chimay clone.

My red rocket clone was lipstick

I currently enjoying a keg of Steve Urquell.

For the win!

That’s good !

That’s awesome.

I wonder if anyone caught my play on words. SN Celebration… Donner Party
