Can I put the gypsum that I use as an amendment in my vegetable garden ( an organic approved amendment, if that matters) in my mash water?
10 bucks says yes.
Um, just remember…lead, arsenic, and cyanide are completely natural and organic. You decide.
Good point! It does pay to look for “food grade”.
I love a good organic lead.
You should try cyanide. Save up your apple seeds and grind into a smoothie. Delish.
Disclaimer - DO NOT do this. It is a joke.
Of course, I just didn’t know if there was a “food grade” or not or if its all the same thing just packaged different.
That drywall from China was gypsum (and some other stuff) just saying.
I had the same question about bentonite (my company makes cat litter). It all comes from some mine in the ground. My guess (hope?) is that the food grade gets tested before labeling.
For the cost, I’m buying the “food grade”.
Yeah, have no problem buying food grade if it exists. Just wondering if I’m ever out if the agricultural stuff was the same. After all, I’m consuming that in my vegetables. Just in parts per billion vs parts per million.
