Is it just me?

Has anyone else thought that the 2010 NHC commemorative plum mead recipe in the latest issue of Zymurgy looks suspiciously like a recipe for slivovitz?  :o

I haven’t had a chance to look through the issue yet, but knowing you, it may very well just be you!  :slight_smile:

I don’t get Zymurgy, but the recipe sounded intriguing so I googled it…sounds like they are making a plum melomel that is then fortified with slivovitz.  Sounds good though!
