Once calibrated it can measure the gravity of the wort by the angle in which the iSpindel sits in the beer.
These work well with Brewfather or Ubidots (free) to monitor the fermentation progress.

The iSpindel is made with a PCB board and not a 3d printed sledge. As far as I know it is the latest model pcb.
