Labeling

What’s a good resource for good quality printed beer labels? Ideally sticker variety, because otherwise you need a labeling line with that glue…

In France most labels are applied with a glue that allows easy clean up for recycling.  If you plan on using new bottles for every batch that’s not an issue, but I think that might get very expensive.  I know wineries use bottle recycling co-ops, maybe breweries do to.

I do not know how about in France but here are label printing companies that print labels.
They print labels for any bottle including beer bottles.

But do they require glue? That’s what I’m hoping to avoid. And as far as recycling, stickers are IMO a better option, because you just peel them off. I’m thinking the Heineken-style “clear” stickers.

Steffan’s Alder Grove Brewing uses (used?) stickers on their bottles, they peel off very easily in one piece and the bottles are easy to reuse for homebrew bottling.  Their website is gone and I’m not sure how to get in touch with him to figure out what he used.

Yes, printing companies can print on pressure sensitive material (sticker).
You would talk to your rep what you want and they tell you if the can do it.
I just have this kind of meeting a two days ago.

Are you speaking 'Sconnie?

Well I got a quote from Label Lady.
What a fiasco.

Labels what I am using right now (I print them myself) are about $0.013 a piece.
Got a quote for $0.20 a piece.
What a disappointment.

Surely that’s a typo? twenty cents EACH?

No typo at all.
Twenty cents each neck label sticker 1.5" round.
